A six-date national tour will start at the Royal Festival Hall and tour England, Glasgow, Belfast and Wales.
THE VENUS BLAZING TOUR will re-define how contemporary classical music can be presented in a visually dynamic way to new and established audiences hungry for concerts which are events in themselves.
The grant from the PRS Foundation will enable the creators of the tour to fulfil their vision of presenting new music in new ways, particularly incorporating high quality visual and dramatic elements. The grant will also help encourage larger scale venues to present less familiar works by contemporary composers.
